The Pre-Retirement Seminar has two modes of learning:
a. Virtual Seminar – personnel retiring through Compulsory Retirement can attend via Zoom Platform, which is conducted once every month, and
b. Online Modules – personnel retiring through Optional Retirement can easily complete the modules at their convenience, at any time and place.
A requisite, they will be required to submit an Affidavit of Undertaking, confirming the completion of either the Virtual Seminar or Online Modules of PRBS Pre-Retirement Seminar.
Pre-retirement seminars provide an easy means of assisting personnel with their retirement planning. Attendees are PNP personnel scheduled to retire in the year prior to the actual retirement. The idea is to educate people on responsible financial management, which includes imparting knowledge on how to start a successful business and manage their finances. Most of the successful professors invited were from the business sector others came from TESDA and the Department of Agriculture, which talks about the business of agriculture where some of the personnel use to engage upon retirement.
